I've been teaching myself to paint starting in February 2020, at the beginning of the Covid19 pandemic. It's always been something I have wanted to try, and since we are all stuck at home way more than we want to be these days, I've taken the plunge and inundated myself with painting supplies of all sorts.
There's probably a framed picture of me hanging in the Jerry's Artarama corporate offices in Raleigh, NC, but that's a different story...
I've gone through a number of phases, starting with a Bob Ross style oil painting or two with a few other impressionistic oils, then a bunch of watercolors, then a lot of acrylics, and now (as of February 2021) another oil painting binge.
