Gingerbread House

Grace loves to bake, to craft and to make stuff. She doesn't necessarily like to eat the things she bakes, but that's a different question.

Recently we picked up a book of fancy gingerbread house ideas, and Grace and Amp worked on one over the last couple of days.

The result, I think, is pretty remarkable. Amp helped with the basic construction, but Grace did most of the rest. I especially like the fondant work on the miniature baked goods. As a modeler and crafter of my own hobby stuff, the detail work here does my heart proud. Creating is fun, and I am glad that Grace thinks so too.
